What is confirmed? Team Memolink's release announcement confirms three endings based on the memories you collect. It does not provide a low / medium / full collection threshold table. Our previous three-tier descriptions were unsupported and have been removed.

Keepsakes and the Ending Result

The official Steam listing says finding keepsakes changes how the story ends. That supports paying attention to collected memories, but does not establish an exact required number, a specific item combination, or whether difficulty changes an ending condition.

This is a replay-planning reference, not a complete unlock walkthrough. We have not independently cleared all three results. The public Steam achievement page lists 17 achievements, but the page returned in this review did not expose descriptions that establish per-ending requirements. Achievement names alone are not enough to map a route.

Track a Collection Attempt

Use this editorial checklist to make a replay informative rather than assuming a larger collection automatically moves you to the next ending:

  1. Record your baseline. Note your installed version, difficulty, keepsakes you actually saw collected and the result displayed when the run ends.
  2. Choose one area to recheck. Note its stage and a recognizable landmark. This page does not publish unverified collectible coordinates.
  3. Observe the risk before scanning. The store says Scan reveals nearby enemies and items, but also exposes the cat's position. It does not guarantee every keepsake is revealed, cover blocks detection, or a fixed exposure timer.
  4. Record the outcome, not an assumption. Note the item collected and whether you later saw it retained after a retry. Persistence rules have not been established here.
  5. Compare the final result. Keep a screenshot or exact wording; one changed collection and one changed ending do not prove a universal numerical threshold.

Three Endings, Not Three Invented Tiers

The official release announcement confirms the count and the link to collected memories. It does not name the endings as “The Path of Fewer Memories,” “The Middle Ground” or “The Full Memory.” Those were labels created by this site's previous text, not verified in-game names.

We therefore do not promise that three runs, collecting progressively more keepsakes, will unlock every result. Exact requirements need a current, reproducible route with the final result shown. A spoiler warning cannot replace missing evidence.

Use the Documented New Game+ Changes

The August 24 developer update states that skills are unlocked from the start on the second playthrough and beyond, and event skipping requires a one-second hold on repeat playthroughs. This is why revisiting a known area may be easier; it is not a promise that keepsakes carry over or every ending can be selected from a menu.

The same update eases KITTEN and CAT while leaving MEOWMARE unchanged. The release announcement says difficulty can be changed at any time. Choose a manageable difficulty for learning a route, but do not assume that difficulty is irrelevant to every hidden achievement.

If Stage 3 Will Not Progress

A documented Stage 3 bug caused the key to reappear after being caught following pickup; picking it up again could block progression. The specific Stage 3 fix and the August 24 update report a correction.

  1. Check that Steam has applied available updates before interpreting the block as a missing keepsake condition.
  2. Record whether you had picked up the key, were caught and then saw it reappear.
  3. If the symptom persists, report your build and reproduction steps in the developer's bug-report thread. These notes do not establish a safe save-repair procedure, so do not delete your saves based on a guessed fix.

Questions Before Replaying

How many endings does Meowmories have?

Three are confirmed by the developer. Collected memories influence the result; exact per-ending thresholds are not published in the sources checked here.

Do I need every keepsake for a particular ending?

That requirement is not established here. This page has no verified per-ending counts, complete location list or proof that collecting everything guarantees a named result.

What changes on a repeat playthrough?

The August 24 update unlocks skills from the start on the second playthrough and beyond, and reduces the event-skip hold to one second. It does not establish keepsake carryover.
